Module 01: Keyboarding Practice The first ten minutes of class will be spent building home row keyboarding skills. Students must keep a dated log in their documents file indicated their progress and word per minute counts each day.
Documents/InfoPro (with level)/typing record sheet Term 1 Keyboarding Test: first day back after self-isolation & on June 24, 2021 Post your dated log to your website on the keyboarding website on June 3 and again on June 24 please. Module 02: Website BuildingStudents will be instructed as to how to build a website in weebly.com. This website will only be visible to Mrs. Bitner and the student. Of course, the expectation is that all assignments are shared with the parent(s). All the student accounts are within Mrs. Bitner's school account for security reasons. Each student is assigned a username, but selects their own private password. This allows the student to work at the website at home. Mrs. Bitner has an administrator's password which allows her to see all student websites for maintenance and marking. Only specified material can be placed on this site since it is for class use only. If inappropriate material is placed on the site, it will be removed or the website will be removed and the student will need to start again from scratch.
You will be given a mark for your website setup (see below). Be sure you have all the titles, menu items, banners with your own photos, buttons, and other required elements done in the way you were instructed. Correct format is important for a nice, clean and clear assignment submission website. Please remember that this is not a "fun" website with which you can experiment. It is for assignments only.

Module 05: Entering the Job MarketInformation Processing 20 students will explore the changing world of technology and consider the impact it will have on their future. Assignment 1: Open the Venn Comparison document below. Save As a file by that name in your drive. Do a comparison between parents and students when it comes to communication placing parents' habits on one side, students' habits on the other, and common habits in the center. Do this all inside Word, then save to your file again and take a snippet of your results to post on your website.
Sometimes teens (and adults) make unwise choices online. If you find yourself in a troublesome situation, the resource below offers guidance and some answers. Check it out.

Need Help Now (Canadian help for teens to remove inappropriate pictures) Futurists have ideas about how your future will be different than what your parents experienced and they suggest that priorities will change. Watch the video below and formulate your own ideas based on the information presented. The assignment will require that you watch the video again, so just watch it for its overall effect the first time.
Assignment 2:
After you have watched the video above, go through it slowly and make jot notes about your reactions to key statements. Do you agree or disagree? Do you see the influence of technology differently? Formulate clear and insightful statements about the claims made in the video. Write a one page paper in Word using proper paragraph structure. You must have at least three paragraphs, each with a topic sentence and followed by supporting details. You may include a small illustration if it enhances your writing. Please also include a title and your name. Post the assignment as a file on your Job web page. Assignment 3:
